About Me

The creative arts have been a long-standing part of my life.

When copper is left out in the elements, the bluish-green patina that develops over time (what we normally recognize as “verdigris”) forms a copper carbonate encrustation that preserves the metal, unlike what rust does to ferrous metals.

A few year ago, I discovered the amazing world of patina and began experimenting. I fell in love with the myriad patination processes that could be applied to copper.

I photograph the processes, edit the photos, and offer the results as scalable high-quality impressionistic and abstract affordable prints.

Since one must be careful with the toxic nature of copper oxidation, I turned to photographing the results of my designs, avoiding any client safety concerns.

Thank you for your interest.

I hope you will enjoy browsing the collection, which grows all the time.

“The colors contained in the print we bought were so interesting and unique.  The chemical reactions that help create the color shapes and depth are fascinating.  The piece was a fine complement in our home for a year then paid forward to my daughter for her new apartment where she now enjoys it!"
